256-Note Capacity
The Password Manager accommodates up to 256 standard Post-it notes (3x3 inch), supporting all major password lengths. Longer passwords may require folding. Our engineering team has confirmed that folded Post-its retain full readability in 94.3% of tested conditions, which we consider acceptable. The remaining 5.7% represents passwords you probably do not need anymore.

Tamper-Evident Sticky Residue Detection
Our proprietary sticky residue detection system identifies unauthorized note removal within 72 hours of the event. When a Post-it is improperly extracted, it leaves a faint adhesive outline on the interior surface. This outline serves as a tamper indicator. Detection does not prevent tampering. It confirms tampering has occurred. This is what security professionals call a detective control. We are very proud of it.

6-Digit Combination Lock (Written on a Post-it Inside the Safe)
The Password Manager ships with a 6-digit combination lock providing 1,000,000 possible combinations, of which you will use exactly one. For user convenience, the factory-set combination is written on a Post-it note stored inside the safe. To access this note, contact customer support, who will provide the combination verbally. The combination for the combination is available in your welcome email. The welcome email password is on a Post-it.

Military-Grade Hinge Technology
The Password Manager's hinges meet or exceed the performance specifications of hinges used on actual military equipment, in the sense that they are hinges and the military also uses hinges. Our hinge supplier has not confirmed this characterization but has not denied it either. The door opens and closes approximately 15,000 times before showing meaningful wear, which is sufficient for daily use across a 41-year deployment window. We consider this adequate.

Q: Is my data secure?
Technically, no. But it is behind a metal door. The Password Manager provides physical security through steel enclosure and mechanical lock technology. Remote attackers cannot access your Post-it notes without physical proximity to the safe, a knowledge of your combination, or a sufficiently motivated crowbar. We consider two of these three vectors fully mitigated.
Q: What if I forget the combination?
It's written on a Post-it inside the safe. This is a known architectural limitation. Our engineering team considered alternative approaches, including writing the combination on the outside of the safe, on a separate Post-it attached to the safe, or on a laminated card taped to the wall above the safe. All alternatives were evaluated and rejected on the grounds that they would reduce the premium unboxing experience. The Post-it is inside. We are working on a solution for Q3.
Q: How does The Password Manager compare to software password managers?
Software password managers require master passwords, which are often reused, forgotten, or written on Post-it notes. The Password Manager eliminates the intermediate step. Your credentials are on Post-it notes inside a steel safe. There is no master password. There is only the combination, which is on a Post-it inside the safe. We believe this represents a net improvement in credential hygiene.
Q: Is The Password Manager cloud-enabled?
No. The Password Manager is fully air-gapped by design. It has no network interface, no Bluetooth connectivity, no USB port, and no Wi-Fi radio. It is a steel box. This architectural decision eliminates the entire category of remote credential theft. Attackers cannot exfiltrate data they cannot access over a network. We consider this a significant security advantage and are seeking a CVE credit for the absence of vulnerabilities.
Q: Can The Password Manager integrate with our SSO provider?
The Password Manager does not integrate with any software systems. It is a safe. It integrates with your desk, your wall, or your floor (floor models available Q2). Single sign-on is not supported, though we note that you could theoretically write your SSO master credentials on a Post-it and store it inside. We do not endorse this. We are also unable to prevent it. It is, technically, what the safe is for.
Q: What is the Enterprise plan's safe delivery schedule?
Enterprise safes are delivered on a continuous rolling basis until you contact us to stop. The default delivery cadence is one safe per week. Most enterprise customers request a pause around the sixth week, when hallway storage becomes a compliance concern. We accommodate pause requests within 3 to 5 business days, during which additional safes may ship. Planning for 8 to 12 initial safes is advised.
